Our Ins & Outs (PR Edition)
Hopping on the viral social trend, new media matchmaking service + media opps!
Given that it’s February, we’re a little late to this trend. BUT better late than never, right? 🤷♀️
Ins & Outs went viral on TikTok and Instagram last month, which isn’t always my favorite when we’re talking trends and absolutes, but I DO love when I come across ones that are aimed at self-improvement and mental health.
So why not apply this to amplifying your brand in 2024? Here’s my take:
Out
Mass media pitching
Using ChatGPT for copy
Self-serving brand stories
Getting featured in [insert flashy business publication here]
Posting on social when you have nothing to say
Twitter, X.. whatever it’s called
Being everywhere on social, all the time
Virtual events that fall flat
Niching down
Only looking out for #1
In
Fewer, more personal media relationships
Streamlining processes with AI
Data-led brand stories
Industry trade publications & blogs
Infrequent, meaningful social posts
LinkedIn
Being consistent on 1-2 social platforms
IRL events that feel intentional & unique
Making YOU (& everything you do) the niche
Becoming a connector (with no agenda)
If you’d like me to expand on any of the above in a future post, comment below or email hello@hydeparkpr.com

In today's fast-paced world, authenticity in the workplace and in our personal lives has become more crucial than ever. Yet, fostering an environment where individuals feel secure enough to express their true selves remains a challenge. The importance of
authenticity cannot be overstated--it is the foundation of trust, innovation, and strong relationships. However, creating such a culture requires intention, understanding, and actionable strategies.
